Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony

On Thursday, 3rd April 2025, a momentous step was taken towards building stronger economic and entrepreneurial ties between the United Kingdom and Malaysia. The British Tamil Chamber of Commerce (BTCC) and the Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurs (SICCE) formalised their commitment to collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Palace of Westminster.

Held in Committee Room 9 of the House of Commons, the evening event welcomed a distinguished gathering of business leaders, policymakers, and delegates from both countries.

Among the attendees was a ten-member delegation from SICCE, representing the vibrant Tamil business community of Malaysia.

We have previously signed MoUs with the Australian Tamil Chamber of Commerce (ATCC) and the Northern Chamber of Industries (NCI) in Sri Lanka. We are also expecting to sign MoUs with several Tamil Chambers in other countries and hope to establish broader business networks.

If you are interested in expanding/exploring business opportunities in these countries, please contact the representatives listed below.
Please note that any investment undertaken in collaboration with foreign countries should be approached with thorough research, careful consideration, and independent judgment.
